Blogging Advice

A friend of mine has just created her first ever blog. She’s never had any experience with blogging before, so she’s coming over tomorrow night to get some pointers. This is where you come in: As I still consider myself new to the blogging world outside of live journal, I’m looking for some advice. I know the basic stuff (join 20sb, Blogher, comment on other people’s blogs), but I just want to see if there’s anything I’m missing. She created a Blog Spot blog, so any tips/tricks for that would be greatly appreciated.
