A Week In Review

This week seemed to be rather uneventful, to say the least. Some (small) highlights:

-Found some nice bar stools on Kijiji that were in our price range. My parents bought them for us as an early Christmas present.

-Stephen surprised me one night with a Christmas tree that we had found the week before. He bought some ornaments and lights to go with it. It’s just a little table top tree, but it’s special to me because it’s our first tree. (Insert sappy emotions here.) We still need a few more ornaments and a star to put on top.

-I finally had the time/energy to bake in my new kitchen! Didn’t make anything too exciting, just some Reese’s peanut butter chip cookies, but they were amazing. Our oven works like a dream.

-Tried to go back to the old apartment to clean it up and discovered our roommate was still living there. He had told us that he was going to leave a couple of days after we did, but he didn’t. He had taken over the entire apartment and it was a mess. Stephen called him to find out what’s going on…Cam asked us to come back tonight to clean. WHAT? The apartment is a mess, not even taking into account Cam’s belongings. I’m worried that we won’t be able to clean it all tonight. Oh and guess what? Sunday nights are usually my nights to relax and rest up before the start of my work week. I don’t typically enjoy cleaning an entire apartment in just a few short hours. Both Stephen and Cam have tomorrow off, so they’re not too worried about staying up late to finish. I’ve already warned Stephen that I’m not prepared to stay up late. 5am comes too soon.

-Did a little thing on Twitter that shows what I Tweet about most. Guess what? I’m sharing it with you here.

Tweet Cloud My top 3 words are: Night, Stephen and Love.
Awesome.

  3. Kim: As of yesterday (Monday), he was still there! I need to give him a call soon and see if he found a place to go. I feel bad that he stayed longer than expected, because we took EVERYTHING. Even the shower curtain. We were`t expecting him to stay, so we figured it would be ok.

Chelsea: I loooove Reese`s peanut butter chips! I can`t ever find them here in Calgary...my parents had brought this ones back for me after a trip to Memphis. I need to look harder for them!
